BIOLGET began its course in 2011 when businessmen Mr. Tourousis Ioannis and Mr Ganakis Euripides decided to use their long-term experience in managing non-hazardous waste to achieve their vision of a greener, healthier and safer environment that future generations will enjoy.
Based on this, the company’s operations include the Collection & Transport of Non-Hazardous Waste to Legal Recipients across Greece. In addition, in order to support the use of renewable energy sources, the owners of BIOLGET have a share in the equity of an active Biogas Power Plant.

It is registered in the Electronic Waste Register (EWR) and has a code Registration Number in the Hellenic Ministry of Rural Development and Food «AK 05 Y 1,2,3 EL 25 E – type B». It also applies international management standards (ISO) in all its procedures.

BIOLGET’s activities contribute to the protection of the environment as:
- Risks to public health and natural wealth (e.g. stench, noise, visual nuisance, etc.) are avoided.
- Environmental improvement is reinforced by reducing temporary storage and uncontrolled disposal of solid waste in illegal landfills.
- Fuels are saved and gaseous emissions are reduced by the use of new anti-pollution vehicles and the proper organization of routes.
- It contributes to the recovery and recycling of end-of-life waste and materials.
